In the world of wine, value is confirmed through continuity — from vintage to vintage, before the most demanding international evaluations. This is precisely the kind of continuity behind the wines of “13. Jul – Plantaže”, whose quality has been confirmed for years on the global wine scene.
As in every developed industry, winemaking also has benchmark competitions that define the standards of premium quality. Mundus Vini is one of the most relevant among them.
At this year’s Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2026, Plantaže wines won seven gold and two silver medals, competing among more than five thousand wine samples from over 40 countries.
The evaluation is conducted through blind tasting, before an international jury composed of oenologists, sommeliers and wine experts.
Gold medals were awarded to the following wines:
Vranac Pro Corde 2022, Vranac Reserve 2018, Vranac Stari Podrum 2018 — which, in addition to the gold medal, was also awarded the title of Best Wine of Montenegro — Premijer 2017, Vladika 2017, Pro Anima Pinot Blanc 2025 and Cuvée Terroir Stari Podrum 2020.

Silver medals were awarded to the following wines: Vranac Barrique 2021 and Malvazija 2025.

The achieved result confirms the breadth and consistency of the quality of Plantaže wines. Wines of different styles and vintages were awarded, from powerful and structured reds to precise and elegant white labels, clearly reflecting one of the most demanding values in winemaking: the ability to maintain high quality across the entire portfolio.
Through several awarded labels, Vranac continues to demonstrate the strength of the variety and its distinctive character. At the same time, the recognitions awarded to Pinot Blanc and Malvasia testify to the same level of precision in the white wine segment.
The results from this year’s Mundus Vini evaluation are not an exception. They are confirmation of a standard that is reaffirmed from vintage to vintage.
And, even more importantly, confirmation that wines produced in Montenegro stand equally alongside great wines of the world.
This is the success not only of one winery, but also confirmation that Montenegro has wine understood and recognised by the entire world.
