The project partners are: Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Chimie și Petrochimie – ICECHIM București (National Institute for Research and Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry), TRM Supplements SRL, and Plastbest SRL from Romania.

The project is focused on the development of an innovative product based on extracts rich in lutein and polyphenols, with the aim of protecting against oxidative stress and the negative effects of the modern lifestyle, including increased exposure to blue light from digital devices.

Within the company “13. The project examines their content, stability, and biological activity, with the aim of valorizing them in the development of functional food ingredients.

The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, further strengthening the national framework for the development of research, innovation, and international scientific and business cooperation.

The participation of the company “13. Jul Plantaže” contributes to the sustainable use of wine industry by-products, the development of the circular economy, and the creation of higher-value products through the application of scientific research and innovation.
