13. jul – Plantaže was founded back in 1963 and, for more than six decades, has been one of the largest and most important producers of grapes, wine and grape brandy in Southeast Europe.
Today, it is a symbol of authenticity, consistent quality and trust.
Our Ćemovsko Polje vineyard, the largest in this part of the world, covers over 2,000 hectares in a single complex. It is located between the Adriatic Sea, Lake Skadar and the mountains of the hinterland. This is where wines are created that carry the spirit of the Montenegrin terroir.
Every year, we produce around 18 million kilograms of grapes and place more than 14 million bottled products in over 40 countries worldwide.
The most beautiful part of the mosaic that completes our story is our wine cellars, each unique in its own way. Their total capacity is 33 million liters.
The Old Cellar – The place where, in 1963, the first chapter of Plantaže’s wine story was written. The cellar has a capacity of 5 million liters and serves as the starting point for the production of our premium wines.
Šipčanik — Located in a former military facility, in the heart of the vineyard and at a depth of more than 30 meters, Šipčanik currently holds more than two million liters of wine for aging. Its archive contains more than 18,000 bottles of wine.
Quality and consistency over the years have strengthened Plantaže’s position as one of the leaders in the wine industry of Southeast Europe. That is why we can rightfully say: If there is truth in wine — we are a winery you can trust.
In addition to wines, we also nurture a long tradition of producing strong alcoholic beverages, including natural fruit brandies and wine brandies, crafted with the same dedication to quality and authenticity.
Our mission is the development and production of high-quality wine and table grapes, wines, peaches, fruit brandies and fish, as well as the provision of hospitality services that meet customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
Our goal is to be a leader in both domestic and international markets in terms of the quality of our products and services. We achieve our vision through the continuous improvement of our quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
