Vladika

This wine was created to mark the 50th anniversary of Plantaže and as part of the celebration of a great jubilee — the 200th anniversary of the birth of Montenegrin ruler and bishop Petar II Petrović Njegoš. An authentic blend, dominated by Vranac with a smaller percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it represents a complex, powerful, and modern wine aged in the finest oak vessels.

The wine is dark ruby red in color. Deep and layered aromas of ripe sour cherries and blackberries, with subtle notes of vanilla, unfold onto a velvety, fruit-driven palate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fruity, with pronounced sour cherry accompanied by tones of chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, and vanilla. In its very long and persistent finish, a rich fruity profile is composed of notes of blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry.
