Plantaže wines made a great success at the largest international wine competition in the region in Skopje

At the 10th largest and most important wine competition in the region The Balkans International Wine Competition, the wines of the company 13.Jul-Plantaže won eight awards, as follows: two double gold medals, two gold medals, two silver medals, one bronze medal as well as recognition for the best wine from Montenegro.

Stari Podrum – the best wine of Montenegro


Stari Podrum Vranac, vintage 2013 was announced as the best wine from Montenegro, proving uncompromising and world quality of Vranac, grown on the rocky soil of sunny Ćemovsko polje. An exquisite success, made by winning double gold medals by red wines Vladika 2018 and Stari Podrum cuvee 2013. The wines Malvazija 2019 and Vranac reserve 2015 also won gold medals. Vranac Barrique 2016 and Kratošija 2017 won silver medals and Premijer 2013 won a bronze medal.
 
This year, BIWC wine competition was held in Skopje, on 3-4 June, on which occasion the international jury tasted over 900 Balkan wines. The decisions of the jury on trophies and medals were announced at the ceremony in Sofia, held at the Balkans Wine Festival.
 
The company 13.Jul-Plantaže has been proving the quality of its wines at the most prestigious wine competitions throughout the world and medals from BIWC competition this year have proved once again the premium quality of Montenegrin wines.
