Medun

Medun

Sweet challenge of Vranac. Naturally sweet wine, dark ruby red colour, produced from partially dried grapes of the variety Vranac, late harvest and in strictly limited quantities. It is produced only in years when the favourable weather conditions, in the phenolic stage of grape ripening, allow late harvest, that is the procedure for natural drying of the grapes on the shoot/grapevine.

This wine is of exquisite fullness, rounded and very rich bouquet. Intertwined the flavors and aromas of chocolate, coffee, dried cherries, dried figs and raisins. It has a very impressive and hot chocolate finish.

HARVEST

Very favorable weather conditions during the entire period of harvest, with very little rain, have enabled steady maturation of grapes and late harvest of grapes. When the grapes accumulate 23-24% sugar, 30-40% of shoot is cut and other bunches are left to dry naturally. The grapes are harvested when they accumulate 33-35% sugar.
